NOMINATION PAPERS FOR FY 2027 ELECTION FOR ONE (1) POSITION ON THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HYANNIS FIRE DISTRICT, FOR A THREE (3) YEAR TERM ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DISTRICT HEADQUARTERS, CLERK’S OFFICE, 95 HIGH SCHOOL ROAD EXTENSION, HYANNIS, MA. FIFTY (50) VALID SIGNATURES ARE REQUIRED. NOMINATION PAPERS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE TOWN OF BARNSTABLE REGISTRARS OF VOTERS FOR CERTIFICATION NO LATER THAN 5:00 P.M. ON FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2026 AND MUST BE RETURNED TO THE CLERK OF THE HYANNIS FIRE DISTRICT NO LATER THAN 4:00 P.M. FRIDAY, MARCH 27, 2026. ELECTIONS WILL TAKE PLACE TUESDAY, MAY 19, 2026 FROM 3:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M. THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE HYANNIS FIRE DISTRICT WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAY MAY 20, 2026, 7:00 P.M. ANYONE WISHING TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE FOR THE ANNUAL WARRANT MAY DO SO BY HAVING A PETITION SIGNED BY AT LEAST TEN (10) REGISTERED VOTERS OF THE DISTRICT.
